So very sad, I had no idea Debbie had passed, I had seen her a few times in years past, when I had scanned her in MRI, she was always so sweet & I can see her Beautiful smile. As we all know life is so fragile & as we have witnessed, our friends & classmates are often gone way to soon! God bless her family, Jan Conn

I was stunned when Dona (Gallaher) Miller messaged me on FB and told me that Debbie had passed. I had no idea that she was even ill. In September 1975, Debbie invited me over to her house for a sleepover. We had company (just for the evening to play pool - wanted to make that clear - ha!ha!) - some boys from Boyd County. One of those boys was her date, Ronnie Fannin. His twin brother, Donnie and my husband of 37 years, Jeff West made up the other two. Debbie was my friend and I loved her very much. She was always kind to me, and her parents were lovely people. As time went on, I became involved in preparing my wedding and Debbie and I just simply drifted apart.
Her extended family live on Durbin Creek where my husband and his family are from. I know where her family cemetery is and will have the opportunity to go there and lay flowers on her grave. I am so sad that she no longer shares the world with us.
